Banco de Crédito del Perú Selects Murex MX.3 Platform to Strengthen Enterprise Risk Management Capabilities

LIMA, Peru and PARIS, November 3, 2026—Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), Peru's largest bank, has selected MXSaaS to support its enterprise risk management strategy.

As financial institutions continue to navigate increasing regulatory expectations and more complex market environments, BCP sought a platform capable of supporting a consistent and integrated approach to risk management across the organization. Through its MXSaaS deployment, BCP will consolidate key Enterprise Risk Management functionalities onto a single platform, including Market Risk and FRTB compliance, SA-CCR, and XVA, helping to enhance consistency, transparency and governance across risk processes.

The initiative will provide a scalable foundation for the bank's risk management framework while supporting future business growth.

"Strengthening our risk management capabilities is a key priority as we continue to evolve our business and operating model," said Rafael Hurtado, market risk manager, BCP. "We selected Murex because of its proven expertise, comprehensive platform, and ability to support our long-term objectives. The breadth of the MX.3 platform will enable us to consolidate critical risk functions while supporting our regulatory and strategic priorities."

"Banks across Latin America continue to invest in stronger enterprise-wide risk frameworks to address evolving regulatory and business requirements," said André Beller, sales director LATAM at Murex. "We are proud to support BCP with a platform designed to provide consistency, scalability and control across risk management functions."

The project marks the beginning of a new relationship between BCP and Murex and reflects the growing focus among leading financial institutions in Latin America on strengthening enterprise-wide risk management capabilities while addressing increasingly sophisticated regulatory requirements.
