Role of the Business Developer
As a Business Developer, your goal is to enhance our market share. To do this, you must cultivate a strong understanding of your local region as well as the financial/software needs of your clients. By applying our business strategy and your deep product knowledge of our platform, its capabilities and suitable references, you identify and qualify appropriate opportunities with both new and existing clients: these could be banks, asset managers, corporations and utilities.
Your role is to build relationships with key stakeholders and work closely with other Murex teams to propose the best fit solution. You are expected to negotiate and successfully close commercial and legal agreements, based on Murex standards, to safeguard a timely delivery of all signings.
What are we looking for in our Business Developers?
Business Development roles are open to experienced candidates only. As a minimum, you should have:
Experience of long and complex sales’ life cycles
The ability to work under pressure and to be results-driven
Excellent presentation, writing, communication and negotiation skills
A willingness to travel extensively
The desire to work in a collaborative, multicultural and international environment
