Job description

Murex is a recognized global leader in software development for trading, risk management and processing. Every day banks, asset managers, corporations and utilities, across the world, rely on Murex people and Murex solutions to support their capital markets activities. Our motto “pioneering again” sums it all up: since its creation, Murex has reinvented itself time and again to adapt to capital markets revolutions – each time offering innovative software solutions to the industry.

Over 2200 specialists are located across our 17 offices: Beijing, Beirut, Dubai, Dublin, Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Moscow, New York, Paris, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, and Toronto

Murex offers careers across many domains, from finance and risk to technology.

As a student intern, you will be given three weeks training on the technology and business concepts. Following that you will work as part of a project or client success team across a range of areas from market risk, credit, finance or business integration.

Murex has teams in risk, finance or technology and we recruit from a variety of backgrounds including finance, computer science, engineering, and maths. We are a people company and we offer an extensive training program to new recruits to equip you with all the skills that you will need.

We are looking for people who are problem solvers, who want to master how financial products work and who want to become recognised experts in pricing, risk and liquidity in capital markets and treasury. People who love tech and want to roll up their sleeves and use SQL, XML, Python to wrestle data will thrive.

For technology focussed roles we want to hear from people who want to work on the latest cloud and open source software and who want to drive customer projects using continuous integration and devOps.

And above all we’re looking for people who want to be part of a team that works closely with our customers to ensure their success.

Successful candidates may have the opportunity to convert to permanent positions after the end of the internship.
