To support this transformation Murex is creating an Architecture Domain as part of its client services division, and massively investing on hiring Solution Architects that will be the change agent of this transformation. The solution architect role based in Chile will drive the deployment of those changes for a portfolio of clients in the LATAM Region.



Your responsibilities:

  • Promote Murex’s strategy and keep clients fully up to date on our offering
  • Ensure client-driven product innovation
  • Work with Project Managers ensuring smooth delivery on all projects, extensions by sharing insights, knowledge, and understanding of the client’s strengths and expertise
  • Work closely with Business Development and Client Services Domain Managers to identify opportunities and develop business
  • Work with the Support Coordinators to ensure smooth day to day and business as usual activities’ successes and participate in their mentoring and development
  • Partner with clients to build relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Seek collaborative opportunities, both internally and externally, identifying occasions to enhance a project by working across teams at Murex
  • Prepare and present presentations and communicate to clients and colleagues
  • Provide feedback on improving its strategy based on market trends and relevant technology trends
  • Leads complex technology & integration subjects at strategic clients
  • Defines test or migration strategy with optimal coverage of functional & technical components


As an active member the architecture Domain, the LATAM architect will also need to contribute to the development of the domain:

  • Share awareness on market and industry trends
  • On-board architects through building solution expertise on his strength areas or on specificities of its geographic regions
  • Propose and lead initiatives and innovation around architecture activities
  • Provide feedback & contributes on existing and new service or product offers (MX position, deployment artifacts, …)



To be successful in this role:

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge in Unix, Linux, Windows, Oracle, Sybase, etc.
    • Project methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, CI/CD
    • System design & integration patterns: UML, Visio
    • Tech tools: DevOps (Git, Jenkins) / Cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Strong academic background in business, finance, mathematics, and accounting
  • Knowledge and proven experience in capital markets software for trading, risk management, processing, or consulting
  • Broad experience on complex implementations
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to
    • Understand complex issues and be able to either dive into details with experts or summarize for non-experts
    • Be able to foresee challenges and dependencies
  • Ability to identify trends and recommend a course of action to resolve/improve/enhance the usage of our solution
  • Management of complex client relationships
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred
