Position Title:                Presales Consultant

 

Context – Team description

Within Murex, the presales team gathers product and service experts to enable Murex to sell its MX.3 solution to financial institutions. Presales consultants are working closely with business developers and client managers to provide accurate answers to requirements coming from prospects or existing clients, to demonstrate the system’s capabilities, to present the available service offers and to build the best value proposal to win deals. The presales team is also in charge of producing and maintaining artefacts allowing Murex to create a competitive edge over other vendors. The presales team is organized by domain of expertise among Front Office, Back-Office Operations & Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, Integration & Architecture and Professional Services. Presales is at the crossroad of many functions within Murex, from Product Evolution teams to Client Service teams, ensuring constant and valuable source of improvement for its members. The presales team operates across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

 

Mission

The Back-Office Operations & Finance presales consultant is responsible for managing product-related aspects of sales processes for a wide list of topics which involve Affirmation/Confirmation, Settlement, Collateral Management, Subledger Accounting, Hedge Accounting and Physical Securities Finance solutions. The mission includes the following activities:

  • Mapping of requests from prospects/clients with the MX.3 product in the space of Back-office Operations and Finance
  • Providing high quality responses to RFIs (request for information) and RFPs (request for proposal)
  • Preparing and delivering Murex MX.3 demos and workshops to prospects/clients
  • Ensuring transfer of detailed information from presales to the project team for won deals
  • Creating and maintaining overtime presales support documents (knowledge bases, demo script, PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials…)
  • Developing and maintaining high level of product knowledge
  • Provide inputs to Product Evolution teams on market trends and evolving requirements
  • Travel as required
