Job Purpose:

Murex is looking for a strong results-oriented leader who can manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while leading a multiple disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of capital markets and is a demonstrated leader and problem solver with excellent communication skills.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver multiple projects on time, on budget, and up to Murex quality standards to achieve client satisfaction; obtain client signoffs at each project milestone
  • Effectively lead and motivate a cross-functional team in a matrix organization; ensure project team has all the necessary resources, tools, and information flow for the continued delivery
  • Manage tight project deadlines and high client expectations. Effectively communicate client feedback, including escalations, within the organization to quickly rectify issues
  • Responsible for tracking effort on projects, managing change requests, and providing clients with projected effort and costs. Summarize and report project financials to company management
  • Work with the presales team to represent the services organization methodology to prospective clients
  • Review and suggest improvements to the current processes and methodology to ensure we deliver the project as efficiently as possible and exceed client expectations

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience delivering results on projects or programs in a vendor environment
  • Self-motivated to move projects forward and ensure timely and on-budget delivery
  • Experience in leading projects through their full life cycle while managing team members and change
  • Experience working with stakeholders across business and IT functions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing capital markets implementation projects
  • Experience in supporting business opportunities through the creation of service proposals, statement of works and presentation of service methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross disciplinary teams to problem solve in the face of deadlines
