Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Handles incident, problem and crisis management on the Murex SaaS platform (following ITIL) 
  • Contributes to SaaS architecture and service designs on private and public clouds.  
  • Ensures incident resolution, fast service restoration and service KPI calculations  
  • Contributes to the SaaS service and platform’s evolution and enhancement 
  • Acts based on service and business impact 
  • Enforces SaaS requirements and best practices and ensures processes and procedures are appropriately followed based on the Murex SaaS and market’s standards  
  • Enriches knowledge base & procedures at the team level 
  • Building and maintaining a thorough understanding of: The architecture and technical configuration of the SaaS platform and MX.3 software program deployed on public and private cloud, and the SaaS services catalog proposed by Murex to its clients  
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the Murex SaaS architecture and interaction between its layers 
  • Contributing to network architecture decisions including connectivity with Murex SaaS clients’ and third-party vendors 
  • Ensuring proper communication channels with other stakeholders  
  • Understanding and maintaining the SaaS service management framework 
  • Analyzing and applying security best practices on the platform  
  • Maintaining and delivering SaaS security services  
  • Training other team members on SaaS technical procedures, plays first level of escalation for SaaS technical issues 
  • Contributing to the SaaS technical stream for new client implementations  
  • Implementing new SaaS services based on well-defined specifications, while planning and managing external (i.e. Hosting Provider(s)) and internal communications 
  • Building deeper knowledge of chosen SaaS services and contributing to their evolution 
  • Handing Incident, Problem and Crisis management on Murex SaaS technical Incidents, with escalation responsibilities 
  • Identifying service quality related impediments and proposing related solutions  
  • Building and continuously developing an internal network, communicates effectively with peers to ensure understanding and constant feedback and visibility on SaaS technical support activity 
  • Contribute to the evolution of solutions for monitoring and reporting SaaS technical metrics and KPIs 
  • Contributing to the Murex SaaS security framework 
  • Interacts with Clients, Hosting/Cloud Providers and third-party vendors 
  • Interacts with cross-domain internal teams 
  • Works on SaaS client projects with required occasional on-site visits 
  • Follows-up on out-of-hour critical incidents or maintenances  

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Graduated from an Engineering school or a Master's degree, with interest in technical matters and software integration  
  • Cross-domain technical knowledge is a must including but not limited to: Network connectivity, protocols and security, Linux and Windows server operating systems, information security standards, database administration, public loud architecture & services, and Service management frameworks (ITIL…)  
  • Fluent English and ability to work in an international environment - French or Spanish is a plus  
  • Analytical thinking, curiosity and open-mindedness are mandatory  
  • Excellent communication skills with good analysis and synthesis capabilities
