Missions :


For our Luxembourg office, we are looking for an experienced Tax Specialist who wants to evolve in a hi-tech environment where the projects are varied, and the view is global. 

As a tax specialist, you will support the company in all tax advisory and compliance matters and work with various teams (i.e., Finance and other Operational departments).

You’ll need to be able to work on international tax and local tax regulations of various countries including direct and indirect tax and will need to have a good understanding of the transfer pricing principles.


Your role will consist of assisting the company’s tax manager, to whom you will report directly, in the following subjects :


Tax Compliance and tax reporting:


  • Review of the corporate tax returns and provisions including deferred tax,
  • Make sure that Murex meets corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, FATCA compliance obligations by tracking all filings obligations, reviewing and preparing them in collaboration with the Regional Financial Controller of each region,
  • Assist the Regional Financial Controller in any tax audit or request from tax authorities,
  • Review tax reporting included as part of the consolidated accounts,
  • Work with the FP&A team to build up the tax provisions as part of the budget and forecasts.

Tax Advisory


  • Define, deploy, assist in implementation and enforce the company's tax policies, rules, procedures and principles,
  • Assist business development team in analyzing international and local tax implications relating to the conclusion of a transaction and work with Legal team to draft tax clauses included in third-party customers’ contracts,
  • Assist the company on any restructuring and projects,
  • Follow tax developments internationally and in the EU (e.g., ATAD, BEPS, MLI) and provide analysis of the potential tax implications for Murex
  • Keep track of local tax legislative changes in various countries in which we operate and provide analysis of the potential impacts the company.


Transfer pricing


  • Update of the transfer pricing documentation of the company,
  • Keep track of any transfer pricing development in the countries in which we operate.




  • Manage relationships with external tax advisers around the globe.
  • Assist Legal team in updating or putting in place intercompany agreements.
