MX3 is a software platform made up of several services which communicate with each other. These services are implemented with different technologies C++, Python, Java, Javascript
You will be part of the web development team responsible for the design and implementation of the software Graphical User Interfaces with a strong user experience.
These web applications are based on reusable components built on top of an Angular library owend and maintained by the team.
The candidate will be based in Dublin but will work in an international team. Being truly passionate about web development, willing to work in a young dynamic team, and striving for high code quality is key for a successful integration.
Responsibilities:
- Development: Ability to develop high-quality, testable and maintainable code with best-practice design.
- Building resusable components and maintaining the web library.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Contributing to the team pull requests (GIT)
- Learning new technologies, development practices and patterns.
- Participating in the teams agile rituals as part of a SAFe train.
- Improving work practices
- Willingness to travel periodically when required for planning activities
JOB requirements
Professional / Academic
- 2.1 or higher degree in Computer Science / Maths / Software Engineering
- 450+ Leaving Certificate Points (or equivalent)
- 0-4 years’ industry experience
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Angular2, React or Polymèr
- Knowledge of Restful webservices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, for example, Scrum or Kanban.
- Fluent English is essential
