Based in Beirut, as a Learning Manager you will be in charge of the Learning operations for the Middle East. You will report to the EMEA Learning operations Manager and will manage operationally a team of 2 training assistants.


As MEA Learning operations Manager you will ensure that:

  • Business needs are captured, understood and shared with appropriate role/person for action.
  • MEA learning plan and budget are defined according to needs and in compliance with Murex learning policy and local regulations.
  • Learning services and solutions are delivered in the region according to plans and execution is piloted and controlled to bring the highest value to the company at the lowest price.
  • Advice on learning offer is provided: Learning offer is explained and understood by all audiences, to ensure effective usage.


Your responsibilities:

Pilot the Learning operations of our training center based in Beirut serving our staff, our clients and strategic partners for MEA:

  • Drive the process to establish the annual training plans and Learning budget of the region.
  • Establish the planning of deployment of learning events throughout the year seeking for optimization across the Group.
  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of Learning events ensuring best quality and optimizing attendees’ presence.
  • Capture business needs for the population of the Software Engineering department (based in Beirut and in Paris) and advise on Learning offer contributing to establishing related learning paths in collaboration with Managers and HRBPs.
  • Source and negotiate contracts with external providers, analyzing the best quality / price balance and ensuring fit-for-purpose.
  • Follow up on invoicing, budget and public financing to optimize budget use.
  • Keep a good knowledge of the training regulations / laws to be applied in the region and make sure Murex is compliant with its obligations.
  • Coordinate and Supervise the delivery of MX training for Beirut ensuring best quality and clients/partners satisfaction.
  • Make sure Beirut training center is fully operational to ensure high quality delivery of trainings.
  • Ensure billing/invoice data is entered in LMS and regularly transmitted to Finance department.


Monitor operations delivery quality:

  • Consolidate and analyze the evaluation reviews for all learning events to monitor and enhance quality of delivery and ensure a good ROI.
  • Supervise the production of KPIs regarding Learning Operations and provide regular reporting.
